Dress Code for 18 hole golf course

Slinfold Golf & Country Club aims to operate a contemporary and forward thinking golf course dress code, commensurate with a modern day country club.  However it is in all of our interests to maintain reasonable standards of casual but smart dress in keeping with golfing traditions.

On the course we do accept fashion changes very quickly and our current guideline is simply that any recognised golfing apparel that can be purchased from a golf retailer is acceptable.

Additional points to note include:

Bottom Half:

Denim jeans, tracksuits, beach or leisure shorts are not permitted.  Golf shorts should be tailored and cargo pants are, as yet, not deemed golfing apparel.

Top Half:

Golf shirts with collars, turtle necks or recognised golfing apparel of a similar nature are all acceptable.

Football, rugby shirts, crop tops and vests are not permitted.

Shoes and Socks:

Only recognised golf shoes are permitted.  Sports socks of any variety are fine.

Any queries in relation to the above should be directed to the on duty Course Marshal or Duty Manager at reception.
